Make 2008 your year to shine!

“Later on we’ll conspire

as we sit by the fire

to face unafraid

the plans that we've made

walking in a winter wonderland…”

The last month has been filled with bright lights, big dreams, and wishes and plans for the New Year.

Then the New Year dawns bright and shining before us, and we have such high hopes for this new beginning.  Do we have what it takes to make the changes that we want in our life, or will it be the same as it was last year?

Will we put away our dreams and hopes as we put away the decorations from this holiday?

Can you really afford to do that?

Can you really afford to NOT make the changes that you want in your life?

I was right where you are today.  My bills far exceeding my income.  My thoughts full of worry and fear.  Working too hard for too little.  Too little money, too little fulfillment, too little respect, too little time to do the things I really wanted to do with my life.

Stuck, trapped, scared!

Then I got a wake-up call.  It came from a coworker.  He was only six months older than I was, and just received the diagnosis of cancer.

That day I vowed I WAS going to make changes.  That day I began to find the skills, the techniques, and the resources I needed to begin to create the life of my dreams.

It was 25 years ago, and I am thankful that I made that decision on that day.  Instead of fear, I now feel excitement. Instead of worry, I now view the future as I want it to unfold.  Instead of blaming others, I now take full responsibility for what is happening in my life.

Now I spend my days living my dreams, teaching others how to escape the prison of their lives, as I have escaped my prison.  Each one of us has the key to open the door of that prison.  We just need the skills and techniques that will help us build a new life once we step out of that door.

One of those keys, for me was hypnosis.  Hypnosis taught me the power of my mind.  I learned a new way to focus that power to get what I WANTED.

January 4 is World Hypnotism day.  Hypnosis has been recognized by the AMA as a modality that has been successful in helping people stop smoking, lose weight, manage pain, improve self-esteem, and control negative stress.  Hypnosis teaches you how to access the power of your own mind.

To celebrate this powerful process, I am offering two sessions in January to introduce you to the power of hypnosis.  Please join me, Wednesday, January 9 at six o'clock, or Thursday, January 24at six o'clock, for a free introduction to the power of you.

Make this year, YOUR year!
